St. Timothy Music Ministry

Music Notes

Greetings and Gods blessings to all! First and foremost, I wish to thank all participants for their contributions in our music ministry over the past 2 months. This ministry has grown, and the congregation has expressed appreciation in spiritual meaning for every service. This season, coming out of Epiphany and going into Lent was special. Mid-week services with chanting and soft music allowed for us to center ourselves and pray on a one-on-one with our God. As Pastor said, these times in our culture are so busy, not taking time to be still, and reflect and pray with God on a one-on-one. These services were a blessing to have and allowed us to do just that.

Palm Passion Saturday and Sunday were blessed with offerings from our bell choir and soloist Simone Shuster, singing "Not Because of Who I Am". Holy Week was equally moving with Oliver Oyama, Cliff Thompson, and Daniel Riechert providing special music. Easter Sunday was celebrated with musical offerings from the bell choir, Frank Edel on trombone, Cliff Thompson on trumpet, Daniel Riechert on saxophone, and the chancel choir supporting our pastor singing "HE IS ALIVE". We must not forget all the other musicians that support every service as well;

Noah Snare - Guitar

Zachary Elam - Guitar

Joshua Elam - Guitar

Val Updegrave - Guitar and Vocals

Linda Dyer - Guitar and Vocals

Pastor Curt Snare - Guitar and Vocals

Joshua Snare - Bass

Micah Snare - Conga

Ben Anderson - Drums

As I mentioned earlier, it is evident that our ministry has grown; a true spiritual blessing. I am honored to be part of all of this, and pray that the Holy Spirit continue to bless this growth.

Choirs will be taking summer break right after Pentecost, June 10th, and resume mid August. Much is planned for Autumn, our 500th anniversary, Advent and Christmas. Please accept this as a personal and open invitation, to One and All, come and be part of the Musical Notes Ministry at St. Timothy.

Your Brother in Christ,

Saul Rodriguez
